For people whose money doesn’t arrive in one tidy paycheck
One net worth. However you make your money. What you earn, what you owe, what you actually keep.
VEIN puts everything you earn, run and owe in one net worth, then answers the questions a paycheck app never does: what did I actually pay myself, how long does the cash last, and how much of this is the tax man’s?

Everywhere you work
On the desk. In the pocket.
The same accounts, entities and figures on the laptop and on the phone in your hand. The desktop gets the room for the whole cockpit; the phone keeps every number that matters.
The product’s screens, drawn with sample figures — the Analytics cockpit and your books on the desk, Home in your pocket. Every number is illustrative.
Owner draws
None of the twelve tools we benchmarked shows what you paid yourself.
Read-only
Through Plaid. VEIN can see balances and transactions and can never move money.
By entity
Personal · LLC · all of it. One switch, never one big pile.
Small groups
Invites go out in batches, so we can fix what breaks before the next one.
Owner draws
See what you actually paid yourself.
Every transfer from the business to you, separated from real expenses and totalled by month. Most finance apps assume a salary. Yours arrives in irregular lumps, out of an account that also runs the business.
- Draws are their own category, not buried in “transfers”
- Compared against what the business actually netted
- Written up once a month, traceable to the transactions behind it
Runway & tax reserve
Keep the LLC out of your groceries.
Assign each account to an entity as it comes in. One switch then shows you everything, just personal, or just the company, with the two numbers an owner cannot get anywhere else.
- Runway from your true burn rate against real balances, not a guess you avoid
- Set a reserve rate once and VEIN tracks what to set aside as income lands
- Quarterlies stop being an emergency
Ask VEIN
Ask anything. It answers from your real numbers.
Not generic advice. Every answer is computed from your own transactions and says where it came from, so you can check it. It reports figures. It never tells you what you should do.
- Every figure cited to the transactions behind it
- Sees your figures, never your credentials
- Informational, not financial advice, and labelled that way
Attention
It finds business spending on personal cards before tax season does.
Mixed money leaks. A software subscription on the personal card, a duplicate charge, a bill that quietly went up. VEIN flags each one with the dollars attached and waits for you to decide.
- Flags sized in dollars, biggest first
- One tap moves a charge to the right entity
- Nothing changes until you say so

Connect your accounts
Banks, cards, loans and brokerages through Plaid. Read-only — VEIN can see balances and transactions, and can never move money.
- 02
Split personal from business
Assign each account to an entity as it comes in. One switch then shows you everything, just personal, or just the company.
- 03
Get your monthly read
Once a month VEIN writes a short read of what your own numbers show — traceable to the transactions behind it, never generic advice.
Security
Before you connect a bank.
You are about to hand a young company a view of your money. Here is exactly what that does and does not allow, in plain terms, before you decide.
Built on Plaid · Supabase · Stripe
Read-only, always
Connections go through Plaid. VEIN can read balances and transactions and has no ability to move funds, ever.
Your credentials never reach us
Plaid handles the bank login. VEIN only receives an access token, and that token is encrypted at rest.
Only you, and who you invite
Every row is scoped to your workspace at the database level. Your accountant sees what you choose to share.
What the AI sees
Your figures, to write your monthly read. It is informational, not financial advice, and it never sees your credentials.
Disconnect any time
From Settings. Removing a bank deletes its accounts, its transactions and its stored token.
Not a bank, not advice
VEIN is a financial management tool. It is not a bank, a broker or a financial adviser, and nothing in it is financial advice.
FAQ
The questions worth asking first.
What the beta is, and what owners ask before trusting a tool with both sides of their money.
- When does it open?
- Fall 2026. Until then we are inviting people in small batches, so the earlier you join the sooner your turn comes round. Joining does not put you in a queue position you can lose — we work through the list as capacity allows.
- What does joining get me?
- One email, when there is a place for you, with a link that works. Nothing else. We do not add you to a newsletter and we do not share your address.
- Does it cost anything during the beta?
- No. Everyone we let in starts with 14 days of full Pro access, free and with no card. When those days are up your workspace moves to the free plan and keeps working — nothing you have already synced is deleted, and you choose what stays connected.
- Who is VEIN for?
- People who run a business and a life out of overlapping accounts: freelancers, founders, anyone with an LLC and a personal card in the same wallet. If you have ever wondered what you actually paid yourself, it is built for you.
- How is it different from a budgeting app?
- Budgeting apps assume a salary and one pile of money. VEIN assumes two entities, irregular income, and the three numbers no budgeting app computes: owner draws, runway and tax reserve.
- Can VEIN move my money?
- No. Connections are read-only through Plaid. VEIN can read balances and transactions and has no ability to move funds, ever.
- Does it replace my accountant or QuickBooks?
- No. It is the owner’s view, not the books. Invite your accountant to the workspace and they work from the same figures you see.
- Is the AI giving me financial advice?
- No. It reports what your numbers show and cites the transactions behind each figure. It never tells you what you should do.
